Željko Đurović

Zeljko Djurovic was born
on december 12th, 1956
in Danilovgrad, Montenegro.
He completed his studies of Art and post-graduate studies
at the Faculty of Applied Arts
in Belgrade.

He does drawings, paintings and graphics.

Works and lives as a free lance artist. He is a member of ULUS (Association of Fine Artists of Serbia) and Belgrade Ex-Libris Association.

He exhibited paintings, graphics and drawings at more than 200 group exhibitions
in his domicile country and abroad.

 

In 1991 Zeljko Djurovic participated at the exhibition "Meeting of Modern European Painting"
organized by gallery ARDECO from Avignon, France.

In 1991 ATELIER CONTRASTE, from Fribourg in Switzerland, invited him to make a graphics
especially for PRIX CONTRASTE DE L'ESTAMPE ORIGINALE.

In 1994 he participated (with Gallery "Pero") as only Yugoslav painter at the first exhibition
of fantastic paintings, named DU FANTASTIQUE AU VISIONNAIRE in Venice, Italy.

In 1994 and 1995 he participated at the international exhibition of modern art BUDAPEST ART EXPO
in Budapest, Hungary.

In 1996 he was presented in Encyclopedia Biobibliographical of the Art Contemporary EX-libris no. 19.

In 1996 he participated at the international Fair of Arts EUROP ART in Geneve, Switzerland.

In 1998 he participated as the author demonstrating graphic mezzotint technique
in OPEN GRAPHIC WORKSHOP, National Museum, Belgrade.

In 1998 Graphic atelier CONTRASTE, from Fribourg in Switzerland, purchased graphic plate
in mezzotint technique and printed 59+10 author examples for art collectors.
